Potentialities and perspectives of geothermal energy for sustainable development in Africa

 

Abdelkader AIT OUALI graduated from the Houari Boumedienne for Science and Technology University (USTHB) Algiers Algeria, and fulfilled a PhD in Hydrogeology on September 2020 (Study the geothermal potential of Tell central Algeria). Received the Master in geology and Magister Diploma in hydrogeology (groundwater risk pollution and data base for large scale aquifers). Various publications in geothermal energy and hydrogeology, Involved in different internationals projects UNESCO, LEAP-RE Europe cooperation with Africa. Completed fieldworks and participated in many training courses in foreign laboratories: Department of Earth Resources Engineering, Kyushu University: Fukuoka, Japan / Center for Hydrogeology and Geothermic University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. / Technical training on geothermic fields of Kenya, GRÓ GTP Islande / Kenya Electricity Generating Company Plc. (KenGen), Geothermal Development Company Ltd. (GDC). July 2023 guest researcher at Cergy Paris University.
